Meet Jenny Wilson
Hello! I’m Jenny Wilson, the founder of OhWeightLoss.com. I’m a Certified Health Coach specialized in nutrition and wellness from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, with additional certification in plant-based nutrition through Cornell University’s online program. Currently, I’m furthering my education in nutritional science to better serve our community.
My Journey
My path to becoming a health coach wasn’t straightforward. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, my family relied heavily on convenience foods. By my late twenties, I found myself 50 pounds overweight, constantly fatigued, and struggling with digestive issues that affected my quality of life.
After cycling through numerous fad diets with minimal lasting success, I began researching evidence-based nutrition approaches. I developed my own sustainable eating strategy focused on whole foods and realistic habits that fit into my busy life.
Over 18 months, I lost 45 pounds and experienced a complete transformation in my energy levels and overall wellbeing. Friends and family noticed the change and began asking for advice, which sparked my passion for nutrition education and eventually led me to change careers from marketing to health coaching.

My Family
I live in Denver, Colorado with my husband Tom, a software engineer, and our 5-year-old daughter Lily. We love spending our weekends hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains and cooking family meals together. Many of the kid-friendly recipes you’ll find on this site have passed the critical “Lily test” – if a 5-year-old approves, you know it’s good!
